philosophical deliberations on the current need for diverse manifestations of the feminine of the divine

Been teaching philosophy at RAU (now UJ) over the past 11 years; PhD was on 'The Making and Unmaking of the Feminine Self' to be published by Routledge; currently thinking of ways to take philosophical ideas beyond academia and to extend my prospective partners in conversation; interested in extending knowledge about African (especially southern African) versions of the feminine of the divine, which are often associated with rivers, lakes and fountains.   Passionate about saving the planet's capacity to support human life and about realligning our spiritual vocabulary and experience to help make this possible and to restore a respectful and mystical relation between humans and the environment. Also interested in alternative economic models and living patterns (new forms of community) in line with environmental sustainability.  Would like to be part of projects to plant trees and re-establish wilderness, and also projects which rebuild human dignity and integrity through something like 'nature therapy'.
