Political Scab

Is the political scab covering an infected wound or can it heal with new thinking?

As South Africans we live on a fence between positivity and negativity. On the one side liberation, freedom, racial tolerance and hope, on the other side the growing culture of violence has sown a seed of fear in every South African's heart. Can the political games played by the past and present government be blamed for this fear, for breeding a culture of violence? Has politics moulded our thoughts, creativity, fears and aggression? Has the mistakes, evils and struggles of our fathers manifested the souls of the children that stab their fellow classmates? Is it possible for new thinking to bring about a culture of caring?
